Time-Cost-Security Tradeoff Optimization in Project Logistics Based on Decision Network Planning

Project logistics is the transporting project of large industrial equipment such as oil production platform, chemical processing equipment, power generating equipment etc. With the strict requirements of time, cost and security, comprehensive optimization of transport plan is one of the major works in preliminary stage. Because several selections can be chosen for some working procedures, the selection of the transporting plan is a multi-objective NP problem. In this paper, a tradeoff optimization model of time-cost-security, which is based on the model of decision network planning, is established applying multi-attribute utility function theory. The self-adaptive genetic algorithms being applied to solve the model, the satisfied decision result can be obtained. A case study about transport and installing plan of chemical processing equipments is given to verify the validity of the model and feasibility of solution method.
