Study on Estimation of Direct Loss on Explosive Accidents of City Gas
The city gas leaked from the pipeline because of inside and outside corrosion and other destructive reasons. When the leaked gas met fire, the fire accidents or explosion happened, which usually created much casualty and property damage, especially explosion accidents. But the loss made by these accidents is not easy to calculate scientifically and exactly. Although some Estimation methods were provided by grey theory and artificial neutral network, these methods need lots of reliable data. Unfortunately, there is no statistics material on city gas accidents in our country at present. A new Estimation model is introduced on the basis of studying gas leaking reasons and gas diffusion rule and explosion rule. It is an effective and feasible model to Estimation the direct loss by calculating casualty radius and property loss radius. Finally, it takes gas pipeline in Handan as an example to explain the model in detail.
