An Inquiry Into the Security Management Decision Support System Based on GIS for City Gas Pipelines

摘要：

The combining of Geographical Information System and Decision Support System provides an effective approach for dealing with spatial problems. While city gas pipelines have spatial and geographical characters vividly, DSS based on GIS has its advantages in dealing with such problems. The security management decision support system based on GIS for city gas pipelines was designed preliminarily, after our considering the state-of-arts of security management in city gas pipelines. The system can achieve such targets as corrosion expectation, faults diagnosis, safety and risk evaluation, and emergency treatment, to offer a strong decision-making support.
