The Management Innovation of Chinese Retail Business Based on Reverse Logistics
On opening to the outside world completely, Chinese retail business will face tough challenges from the foreign competitors, which requires improving operation and management. This paper firstly analyzes the status of reverse logistics theory and the characteristic of the retailing itself. Based on this, we try to explore a strategically innovative way for Chinese retail business in terms of reverse logistics. Then, combined the successful experience of the retailing in the USA with three aspects including logistics technology, logistics course and logistics serving, the paper elaborates the necessity for Chinese retail business to implement management innovation in reverse logistics. And finally, we draw the conclusion that only through setting up information management system of reverse logistics the retail business can satisfy customers demands with lower operating cost and make more profits.
