Single Vendor Single Buyer Integrated Production-inventory Joint Optimization with Variable Lead Time and Partial Backorder
It studies single-vendor single-buyer integrated production-inventory optimization with variable lead time, in which demand is supposed to be normal-distribution, lead time is supposed to be linear function of order quantity, shortage is allowed and partial backordered for the buyer. It takes order quantity ^safety stock factor for the buyer and number of deliveries as decision variables in order to optimize the integrated expected total inventory costs of vendor and buyer. An optimal algorithm is designed and the numerical example is presented so that the validity of the algorithm is testified
