Study on the Quantitative Model of On-Time Delivery Ratio of Suppliers Based on the Concession Management of Unqualified Products

In order to adapt to the rapidly changing competitive environment, market competition of enterprise has become competition of supply-chain. Selection and evaluation of suppliers in the supply-chain have become a key problem that enterprise must pay attention to while establishing supply-chain with competitive advantage. And on-time delivery ratio of suppliers is a very important indicator in the selection and evaluation systems of suppliers. It can be regarded as a computing method estimating whether cooperative relationship between bilateral partners is smooth or not. Generally, it is calculated according to the ratio between on-time delivery in batches and total batches delivered or the ratio between on-time delivery quantity and total quantity in the past. However, the algorithm is too simple to exactly and objectively evaluate the on-time delivery ratio of suppliers. According to the characteristics of more complex, more outer materials, big difference of products in discrete manufacturing, this paper synthetically takes the product quality, the delay days and the quantitative contrast of other factors into consideration based on former algorithm, combining with the practice of concession management of unqualified products in enterprise on the basis of the quality characteristics, the degree of importance, and the economic value of outer materials often, and finally establishes a quantitative evaluation model of on-time delivery ratio of suppliers based on the concession management of unqualified products. By calculating and analyzing this model, this paper discusses the strategy that enterprise encourage suppliers how to improve their on-time delivery ratio in the environment of supply-chain, analyzes and approves the validity and rationality of the model applied in suppliers performance evaluation with actual case.
