Flow Modeling for Logistics of Manufacturing Enterprise
Whether the business processes of an enterprise is superior or not determines whether its running is efficient or not. As the information technology becoming widely used today, the reanalysis and improvement of business processes existing in enterprises has become the point focused on. Originated in the 1970s, Workflow Management Technology is a theory, which supports the efficient operation of business processes. Once emerged, it has attracted wide attention, and gradually became an important enabling technology, which can support enterprises Business Process Reengineering (BPR), process automation and process integration. This paper studies a manufacturing enterprise, analyzes its principal logistics process, and on this basis, builds its workflow model for purchasing logistics process using Petri nets as model tools. Some key technologies were discussed, containing process model, organization model, resource model, and its relational data. Focusing on the process model, the authors made a detail research. Finally, the authors analyze this models structural. The purpose of this study is to provide a reference solution for modern manufacturing enterprises to a-chieve Business Process Reengineering, and enhance their operational efficiency.
