A Feasibility Research on Chinas Gambling Industry
The formation of some world-renown lottery center such as Las Vegas, Monte Carlo and Macau and analysis was studied from three aspects: political grounds, regional cause, natural and socio-cultural environments. Then embarked from Chinas cultural background, this paper studies the resistance and possibilities for China to develop its gambling industry. Specific research is followed to discuss the potential and constraint of lottery industry which developed in China. Since there is a significant shortage of lottery supply in China judging from the lottery market share and per capita purchase, the market has an enormous potential for development. At present there is an effective demand for lottery in China and much of its demand constraints reflected in the demands on supply, looked from the supply-demand relationship, the supplies were still the principal aspect of the contradictory. After the study of the problems we are facing to develop Chinas gambling industry, the paper finally points out that China shouldnt make blind attempts but to develop its gambling industry with careful design, rational thinking and take corresponding policy and measures to reduce the negative effects that the gambling industry possibly brought.
