Exploring Knowledge Workers Efficiency Within the Modern Manufacturing Environment

摘要：

The importance of knowledge workers and their efficiency within modern manufacturing environment is analyzed. The definition and characteristics of knowledge workers are expatiated further. The connotation of knowledge workers efficiency including individual efficiency and group efficiency is put forward. Influencing factors of knowledge workers efficiency are analyzed, and are divided into five kinds; human factors, task factors, management factors, technology factors and environment factors. The incentive model of knowledge workers is established. The key approaches of improving knowledge workers efficiency are explored on the basis of the incentive model.
