Study on the Production Scheduling in Agile Virtual Enterprise Based on Multi-agent Technology

Agile virtual enterprise ( AVE), as one of the most important and novel organization paradigm in global manufacturing, is increasingly being focused. The production scheduling is a big problem for AVE because of the highly dispersed manufacturing resources. After analysis of the operation characteristics of AVE in this paper, we propose a production scheduling model of AVE and corresponding algorithm based on multi-agent technology. At last a case study is conducted to illustrate the validity of this model and its corresponding algorithm.
