Research on Networked Collaboration Design of Enterprise Process Flow

To manage and control the process flow effectively, a network-based process collaboration design system using workflow management technology was designed to satisfy the enterprise requirements of tasks assignment automation in the process design period and the rate of progress corresponding. The system was composed of process flow definition tool, process information management module, process staff configuration module and task execution inspection module. The message-based procedure synchronization technology was adopted among the modules, which was a collaborative process method of semantic exchange. The typical process design flow was analyzed in detail. And Java applet/servlet was adopted to make the process design and execution staffs interact and increase the flexibility of the process flow. The practice shows that the system reduces the repeated work in the process design, shortens the lifecycle of the design work and makes the design work more efficiently, automatically and collaboratively.
