Emergency Logistics Decision Support System Based on Multi-agent System
Planning and control systems meeting emergency logistics requirements have to be conceived as intelligent distributed systems. To support the demanding management task the multi-agent approach offers promising perspectives. In this paper we first discuss the reasons for use agents and formulate multi-agent systems in emergency logistics, which we particularly focus on identifying the main characteristics for design of management systems in order to achieve the a-bility to master a system in a dynamic environment. Then, we proposes a real-time knowledge decision support framework for the development of an multi-agent based process knowledge-based system which has the ability to solve dynamic emergency logistics process management problems. Finally, we show how the system can automatically synchronize transport schedules in response to changes in the operating environment, providing an ability to facilitate logistics decision making in dynamic environment.
