Knowledge Integration and Creation in Indigenous Innovation
Economy of China grows rapidly, but now facing some constraints. In order to overcome these limitations, Chinese government worked out important strategic decisions on developing the indigenous innovation There are three kinds of indigoinous innovation; original, integrated, and importing-absorbing-digesting -re-innovation. The later two may be categorized as Innovation by system integration. It is more effective for the developing countries to carry out the innovation since it has the advantages of low cost and less risk. In the technological and institutional innovation, there are a lot of ways of system integration. The process of innovation by system integration is closely related to the knowledge integration and creation. The individual and organizational tacit knowledge play important roles in the innovation process. A knowledge continuum model is put forward for the investigation of knowledge integration and creation process in innovation. Thinking styles problem in the system integration process is also discussed.
