Reliable IGBT Modules for (Hybrid) Electric Vehicles

摘要：

Environmental conditions such as high ambient temperatures and exposure to mechanical shocks as well as certain drive cycles, require special attention to the mechanical and electrical characteristic of power modules to guarantee full performance and a high degree of reliability over the entire lifetime. In this paper the aspects and failure modes of Power and Thermal Cycling, material selection, and electrical characteristics are discussed.
