Resonating Photoconductive Microwave Switches for Reconfigurable Antenna System
Photoconductive microwave switches with inline-embeddedresonating filter for the application in reconfigurableantenna systems are presented. The resonating filters are used toblock microwave signals under the dark state so that it caneffectively improve the isolation of the devices. These novelswitches are numerically simulated by commercial software andresults show that the proposed switches have great improvementof the isolation by 20dB than the photoconductive microstripswitches previously reported. The maximum isolation obtained atX band can be up to 53dB.
