Research and Design about New Transmission Mode of GPRS with Multi Peer-to-Peer
The transmission request of GPRS is higher and higher with the development of M-Business, but the transmission modes of GPRS in being are not suitable for files with large capacity to be transmitted, which will delay thedevelopment of M-Business. There are two transmission modes of GPRS in being. One is peer-to-peer, the other is peer-to-multi-peer. In this paper, it suggests and designs the new transmission mode of multi peer-to-peer for the first time which is fit for downloading files with large capacity. The new mode adopts the method of store-and-forward, with the advantages of higher resource utilization rate, more throughput, faster velocity nearly increased in exponential level, less workload for the sever and so on, but with worse reliability and more delay compared with the modes in being. It also discusses some problems that maybe occur when the new mode is carried into execution at the end of this paper.
