Password Authenticated Key Agreement with Smart Cards for Remote Systems
In this paper, we present a password authenticated key agreement scheme for remote systems. This scheme adopts smart cards and is built on bilinear pairings. It employs Diffie-Hellman key exchange to achieve perfect forward security. Furthermore, the proposed scheme allows registered users toupdate their passwords freely without any assistance from the remote system.
