Research on Outsourcing Network Management: Formation and Operation Patterns

With increasingly intensified competition in global market, outsourcing strategy has attracted more and more attention in recent years. However, outsourcing does not merely rest on the relationship between outsourcer and supplier, but tends to form a huge network through the connection with the third and fourth party. Based on case analysis, the paper identified two operation modes of Outsourcing Network: Actor Outsourcing Networks and Nesting Outsourcing Networks. Then, the paper carries on the comparative analysis on characteristics and applicability of the two operation modes, as well as the relationship between them.
