Energy Consumption Change with High Economy Growth in China
China is at the intermediate phase of industrialization and urbanization, it is a course that economic structure transforms dramatically. Structure transformation is an important factor of energy consumption change, the increasing economic size, industry structure optimizing and upgrading is sure to influence energy demand in China. In the paper, we get a generalized difference regressive equation for China energy consumption vs. GDP,from 1978 to 2004, with the total GDP increases 1％ each time, the level of energy consumption also increases about 0.5％ accordingly, high-speed GDP increase comes from a great deal of fixed assets investment, and the fixed assets investment is sure to drive a rapid development in high energy consumption industries, such as steel,cement...etc, then enlarges energy demand. Meantime, we analysis the relativity between energy use efficiency and industrial structure change in China. Finally, we analysis the influences by new type industrialization to energy consumption in China, and get some suggestion.
