Volunteers Motives and Motivations in Non-Profit Organization

摘要：

Non-profit organization (NPO), a third department of the world, is thriving in recent years. Based on literature and empirical analysis as well as practical research, an important point is proposed, that is volunteers are these organizations best resources. Since they work without payment, the maintenance of them becomes a big issue. There must be some reasons for them to join these organizations and make contribution voluntarily. Also, to avoid high turnover rate, some solutions must be made to handle this problem. In this article, well review and analyze volunteers motives and promote matching motivational measures to make fully use of the most valuable human resources.
