Evolutionary Game Theory Analysis of the Travel Mode Choice of Urban Traveler
The travel model choice is a game process existing in traffic participants which includes transportation governors and travelers. In the long-term, the structure of travel model will achieve evolutionary stable status. Nevertheless, there exist shortcomings when using conventional game theory. This paper analyses the game process when travelers make their travel mode choices. Later it presents an evolutionary game model of travel mode choice for single population and proposes the evolutionary stable strategy about travel mode choice, which provide some academic support and evaluation for traffic management measure.
