Simulation study on natural ventilation of buildings
Logical controlled natural ventilation can remove the heat quantity and meet with the occupantsrequirement of fresh air. Natural ventilation as a strategy for achieving acceptable indoor air quality is efficient to improve the work efficiency and save energy. During the transition season the climate in north-China is in the range of a comfort zone. So it is appropriate for the natural ventilation. There are a large number of governing factors in natural ventilation, such as wind velocity, direction and its turbulence, the opening position and size of windows, the air-flow organization, surrounding buildings, and so on. Logical programming of the buildings is benefited to the natural ventilation in the building and the organization of indoor air-flow also plays an important role in providing good indoor air quality and thermal comfort of the occupants.
