Study on the effect of central ventilation in residential building
With the economics growth and air- conditioner popularity in residential buildings, a healthy indoor environment is drawing more and more attention. And, it is well known that good ventilation is a best solution to it. So central ventilation system becomes one of the measures used in residential buildings. This paper takes this system as research object. The indoor temperature and velocity uniformity are studied in a simplified room under the conditions of different fresh air quantity and the position of the fresh air outlet. Results show that the two facts are very important to indoor temperature and velocity distribution when a packaged air-conditioner is installed during hot (cold) seasons. More attention should be paid to the design of the fresh air system to reach a good indoor comfortable environment.
