Study on the running of a hybrid ventilation system
The hybrid ventilation system uses ventilation in intermediate seasons and air conditioning in summer and winter. Its operation model mainly depends on the switch-point of temperature, which is presented in this paper to control hybrid system properly. By cooling load analysis, a control strategy on ventilating fans in intermediate seasons is suggested to optimize the operation. Two examples were illustrated, which show how to put a hybrid ventilation system into practical use. Example 1 is a sustained industrial air conditioning system; example 2 is an intermittent domestic air conditioning system. The analysis on energy saving potential in intermediate seasons shows that a hybrid system can provide an improved IAQ and less refrigerant energy consumption,which can reduce 42.3% and 25.9% of the total energy consumption in a year for example 1 and 2, respectively.
