A questionnaire survey study on energy consumption of residential buildings in northeast region of China
Energy consumption in residential sector has been increasing annually since 1965. Global warming is one of the ever-increasing serious environment problems on a world scale. It is said that CO2 gas causes global warming. The amount of the CO2 discharges of China has occupied about 20% of the gross CO2 discharges in the world that for the same as the United States by 2001. It is the about 11% of CO2 discharges from the factor of life cycle of the architecture in China. For the improvement of this situation, in order to reduce CO2 discharges and to form an acceptable and continued living environment in China, understanding detailed energy consumption of each residence is required. This paper is about of the questionnaire survey on the energy consumption of residential buildings located in northeast region of China.
