ON ENGINEERING PROPERTIES AND MECHANICS THEORY OF LOESS

摘要：

Loess is a typical kind of unsaturated soils. Great attentions have been paid by Chinese Scholars since the twenties of last century. The paper sums up the research results about the engineering properties and mechanical theories of loess such as strength, collapsibility, constitutive model, dynamic characteristics and consolidation theory.
