DETERMINATION OF STRENGTH PARAMETERS OF MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE AND STABILITY ANALYSIS OF SANITARY LANDFILLS
The stability of municipal solid waste landfills includes the stability of landfill slope and waste body itself. Aiming to the stability of landfills, the mechanical gneisses, analysis approaches, and determination of related strength parameters were studied based on the existing research results. With the practical engineering, concerned stability analyses were conducted, and impact factors on stability of landfills were concluded. Consequently, the elementary settle methods to improve the stability of landfills have been brought out from view of engineering technology. Some problems deserved further research have also been presented.
