HORIZONTAL HEAT PIPE VACUUM TUBE COLLECTOR APPLICATION IN BALCONY SOLAR WATER HEATER

摘要：

A coreless horizontal heat pipe for vacuum tube solar collector is presented. The collector is suitable for installation at the balcony or fa(c)ade of multi-stories apartment building. The storage tank is separately located upon the collector. The heat is transferred from the collector to the tank by means of direct or second heat pipe coupling. A series of this kind solar water heaters are installed in north China. The stable and even thermal output are obtained during year round operation.
