EFFECTS OF ICING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF A SOLAR POND
Especial natural environment for Dalian, freezing is considered when the solar pond is in operation, and the influence of surface ice in the solar pond on the whole performance is considered in the numerical simulation of the solar pond model in this thesis. This makes the continuous study of the solar pond in a long term be more practical. Through method based on experiments, measuring radiation transmission functions of the natural ice with different salinity and thickness, and expelling down of the bittern from ice is measured, analyzed and discussed when the brine is freezing. Combined it with water radiation transmission function, through a regression analysis, a new radiation transmission model suitable for solar pond from surface ice to LCZ is obtained, which is useful for research and design of solar pond.
