SEVERAL EXPERIENCES ON AUTOMATIC SUN TRACKING SYSTEM

摘要：

There are many kinds of Automatic Sun Tracking Systems (ASTS) in the area of solar thermal generation. For example: Heliostat, Parabolic trough, Solar Furnace and so on. The transmission types include Gear drive, Screw drive, Fluid drive and so on. This paper mainly focuses on the two-axis gear ASTS. Advices are given in the selection of motor by analyzing the performances of various types of motors. Additionally, Open-Loop and Close-Loop ASTS are compared against each other. The controlling strategy to correct the static bias is built based on the above analysis.
