EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF STARTUP PROCESS OF TWO-PHASE CLOSED THERMOSYPHON (TPCT)
Experimental research on the startup process of high length-diameter aspect ratio TPCT is presented. The temperature varied along the axially direction during the startup processing is analysis. The influence of enhance heat transfer technique at the evaporator on the startup of a TPCT is connected. The analysis results show that the startup behaviors is dependent on the filling amount, initiate status and the enhance technique. For a little filling amount into the TPCT, TPCT can startup quickly just in a small range of filling amount. With the increasing of filling amount, various type startups hysteretic may occur. Shaking and reversing will reduce the startup time. It will help TPCT startup quickly to place the metal screen at the inner wall of evaporator, and it is invalid of adding the porcelain bead in the TPCT.
