RESEARCH ON HIGH EFFICIENT STRAW GASIFIER

This paper presents a thorough study of straw gasification characteristics, domestic present status and prospects using thermodynamic theory based on fundamentals, methods and advanced technologies. The improved fixed bed gasifier, the wet type clarifier and the neotype two stage gasifier were explored respectively. At the same time, the problems of tar agglomeration were also discussed. The results show that the improved fixed bed gasifier and the neotype two stage gasifier efficiency are 75% and 80%, and the tar content is 50mg/ m3 and 10mg/ m3, when the maize straw with the low heating value of 16800kJ/kg is used. The reaction model in gasifier was founded by mathematical Markov chain and some appraisements were given. The straw gasification is a feasible plan, which provides a theoretical reference for environmental protection and clean combustion.
