A New Method For Human Bust Modeling Based On Body Measurements
Virtual human body models are rapidly becoming commonplace in computer graphics. These models, often represented by complex forms or requiring labor-intensive process, challenge the problem of human body reconstructing quickly. The paper studies the problem and presents a convenient approach to simulate the geometry and appearance of human bust for the purposes of virtual reality. This solution is based on garment parameters and parameterized modeling techniques. It demonstrates that in the case studies, the parameterized modeling offers a number of benefits over complete geometric modeling. The method proposed in the paper is efficient, flexible and easily integrated to the general applications of mass customization.
