Design and Optimization of Retargetable Instruction Set Simulator

摘要：

Instruction set simulator is a powerful tool for chip design evaluation and software reverse engineering development. In this paper, the strategy of interpretive simulation is applied, and then a solution of virtual instruction set is presented, which can be used for different series of processors. In the end, to improve the performance, some optimization methods are introduced.
