Research into the Methods of Group Decision Making Problems with Fuzzy Linguistic Preference Relations

The new method of group decision-making problems with fuzzy linguistic preference relations (FLPR) is studied. In this context, we assume that there exist several experts who may different background and knowledge to solve a particular problem and, therefore, fuzzy linguistic assessment variables (FLAV) could be used to express their opinion FLAVs values are not number but words or sentences in a natural or an appropriate artificial language. This paper is first to use fuzzy linguistic preference relations instead of crisp values of fuzzy preference relations, and then develop a new method which transforms the obtained FLAV to FLPR is induced mathematically by means of multiplicative preference relations, fuzzy preference relations, and reciprocal fuzzy linguistic preference relations. Finally, the simulation example is presented to illustrate our method.
