Integrated Research on Flood Risks by GIS Technique

The characters of tide-flood were studied in this paper.On the basis of the calamity theory and by use of the analyzing the factor caused flood disaster, the coast zone of Shanghai city has been divided into several parts. The flood risks were studied too by integrating the nature situation with the hydrological projects. The evaluation system of flood risk was established quantificational in the fuzzy mathematics and probabilistic method. The simulation model of dyke burst and flood routing were established on the basis of hydrology and hydraulics. And finally, the flood risk map was drawn on the platform of GIS. It can be used as the foundation of the decision-making of flood control.
