Location-Based Searching Strategy in the Mobile Environment

摘要：

Many Information resources are relevant to a geographical region. But current web search engines always ignore the geographical information of web resources. And there are some specialties in the mobile environment, such as the connect cost, the low speed and the small display screen.Traditional PC search engines dont do well in the mobile environment. Combining the technology used in the LBS (Location Based Service) and the characteristics of the traditional search engines, the architecture of location-based mobile search service is designed in this paper. Also this paper proposed the algorithms of how to deal with the web pages according to the geographical information hidden in their content.
