The Research on Information Model Driven Mechanism in CAPP Development Platform
Information system in discrete manufacturing enterprise needs such characteristics as reconfigurable, reusable and scalable for the changeable requirements. To meet these requirements, the information model driven mechanism must be designed in information system development platform. CAPP application system in discrete manufacturing enterprise is the supportable system in manufacturing enterprise process planning information. On the basis of summarizing the process planning actuality in manufacturing enterprise, the information model driven method in CAPP development platform is put forward. The information model representation architecture based on object class, method, rule and procedure knowledge is proposed depend on object-oriented technology. The foundation model and application model of CAPP development platform is analyzed. Key techniques of CAPPFramework (a CAPP development platform supported by 863/CIMS in China) that adopts information model driven method are describes in detail.
