A Study on a Comprehensive Evaluation Model of Postgraduates Scholarships in Universities
It is a complex work to make a comprehensive evaluation on postgraduates. The evaluation plays a crucial part in awarding scholarships. Up to date, there still does not exist a set of complete and scientific implementation system. In this paper, a comprehensive evaluation model, which is based on both postgraduates comprehensive evaluation system and committeessubjective comments, is brought out. On the one hand, it determines the comprehensive scores for postgraduates in terms of quantified and scientifically classified postgraduate evaluation indexes, on the other hand, committees subjective comments are introduced in the model and are combined with the comprehensive evaluation scores for postgraduates. They together determine the postgraduates being awarded scholarships. Thus, the evaluation on postgraduate is more scientific, objective, and impartial. Furthermore, a set of comprehensive postgraduates scholarshisp management system is developed by the combination of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Asynchronous JavaScript and eXtensible Marked Language (Ajax). The testing facts represent its practicability and effectiveness.
