A Reliable Video Transmission Architecture for Remote Education
For remote education in the Cernet, a novel reliable video transmission architecture is proposed based on the application level multicast mechanism. By the deploying of edge servers, a tree-based overlay network is constructed. This solution can improve the datatransmitting efficiency, and minimize the redundant packets in the Cernet. Also, the delay and degree bounded routing algorithm is introduced to balance the network traffic. The architecture can be deployed easily in the Cernet, and the results of practical test verify its validity.
