An approach of test case design and its application in software automatic testing teaching
In this paper, we show that how to apply the testing technology, equivalence partition and boundary value analysis, to a web application. And how to design test cases with the two approaches is showed. Then a strategy of automatically generating test case which combined the equivalence partition and boundary value analysis approaches is introduced. With this strategy we describe how large numbers of test case can automatically be generated from small sets of few values, and the effect of the strategy is applied in the performance testing with the automatic test tools SilkPerformer, and have got the good effect in our software testing teaching.
