Simulation and Analysis of VCE Damage Model Based on Digital Map in Xiamen Island
The prevention and emergent rescue of sudden accidents are crucial for the high population density city, such as the Xiamen Island. The function of Geographic Information System (GIS), the urban digital map and the disaster model were combined in Visual C # programming language. The system could locate the large danger gas tanks of Xiamen Island, meanwhile the system simulated the explode hazard with the vapor cloud explosion (VCE)damage model, and analyzed the risk rating automatically. GIS software and the urban danger accident assessment could make a complementarity for each other. Through overlapping the scopes of damage and the urban digital map or the thematic map of Xiamen Island, the system received a fast, accurate and visual result, which was decision-making and crucial for the rescuing and environmental management department.
