Cultural Competence Training in Business Crisis Education

Crisis education has become the norm for most large companies since the need for businesses to deal with various potential crises effectively is growing. With globalization of markets and internationalization of enterprises, the internal and external culturally diverse environments challenge crisis managers. Obviously, cultural competence training is necessary to help crisis managers anticipate and manage varied situations. The nature of cultural competence is discussed and the influences of cultural competence on crisis management are analyzed in the paper.Based on analysis on the process of cultural competence, the objectives, contents and methods of cultural competence training in business crisis education are elaborated separately.
