The Crisis and Response Measures to Export-oriented Agricultural Sustainable Development in China
After entering WTO, Chinas agricultural market competition change from domestic competition to domestic and international double competition, Chinas agriculture enjoys all multilateral, stable and most-favored nation treatment.It provides a better international agricultural policy environment to export-oriented agriculture of China. Compared to 15600 million dollars in 2000 before entering WTO Chinas agricultural exports continued to grow, agricultural exports reached 31400 million dollars. But Chinese agricultural ecological environment is deteriorating; agricultural competitiveness in the international market environment is becoming complex. The adjusting multilateral trade rules and national agricultural trade policy have seriously constrained the sustainable development of Chinas export-oriented agriculture. So China must grasp the opportunities and timely recognize the crisis of export-oriented agricultural sustainable development, and then take corresponding defensive countermeasures, such as establish production bases of agricultural exports, perfect the agricultural standardized system and so on, to enhance agricultural products competitiveness and promote the development of export-oriented agriculture.
