What Can CFD Do on Disaster Reduction

摘要：

This paper introduces the CFD to the important significance for disaster reduction. The function of CFD and the correlation with disaster reduction were stated adequately. Three cases, which are fire safety, wind loads and pollutant disperse in urban on disaster reduction by CFD was illustrated. The conclusion shows that CFD can play an important role in some disaster forecast, and it also can direct the design and layout to avoid or reduce the damage.
