SEISMIC BEHAVIOUR OF CONCRETE-FILLED STEEL TUBULAR FRAME TO RC SHEARING WALL HIGH-RISE MIXED STRUCTURES
A finite element analysis (FEA) model was presented in this paper to study the seismic behaviour of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) frame to reinforced concrete (RC) shearing wall high-rise mixed structures. Two shaking table model tests on CFST frame to RC shearing wall building system were carried out to verify the theoretical model. The building considered in this study had 20 CFST columns and typical RC shearing walls. The test parameters included the frame column cross-sectional type and the peak acceleration. The FEA models were then used to analyze the mode shapes and time-history responses of the mixed building structures. The calculated results were compared with the experimental results. Finally, some suggestions, which maybe references for the seismic design of the mixed building structures, were presented.
