THE ANALYSIS OF MECHANICAL PERFORMANCES ON STRUCTURE OF STEEL FRAME-STEEL PLATE SHEAR WALL WITH SLITS
The lateral resistant ability under three kinds of vertical loads and the hysteretic performances under cyclic loading are analyzed and contrasted, on four steel frames, six steel plates shear wall piece with slits (two rows) and six steel frames-steel plate shear wall with slits. The results show that the lateral stiffness and lateral resistant ability of the first two kinds of structures are lower than steel frames-steel plate shear wall with slits.The stiffness also degenerated quickly after the flexure. The lateral stiffness, lateral resistant ability and dissipation-energy ability of the steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits have the distinct enhancement compared to the first two kinds of structures.The coordinated performance of four-side fixed the steel frame and the steel plate shear wall piece with slits is excellent. Design parameters of the steel plate shear wall piece with slits and the steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits have tremendous influence on the lateral resistant ability and hysteretic performances of the steel plate shear wall piece with slits and the steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits, such as the width to height ratio of the shear wall W/H, the height to width ratio of flexural links h/b, the width to thick ratio of flexural links h/t, the height of flexural links to the height of height of the shear wall h/H. With W/H increases, the structures lateral resistant ability tone up,hysteretic performances go to the bad; With h/b, b/t, h/H increase, the structures lateral resistant ability debase, the hysteretic performance meliorate.
