A FORMULA OF THE WIDTH-THICKNESS RATIO OF THE PLATE OF STEEL OF SRC COLUMN

摘要：

There is an ultimate value of the width-thickness ratio of the steel in the Steel Reinforced Concrete Composite Structure Specification in China. In the table 4.3.4 the width-thickness ratio of the web as for Q235 is less than 96. But there is no calculate theory in the specification. There is a complement note in the specification clause declaration that the ultimate value comes from the experience of Japan. So a practical formula fitted from 150 samples by ANSYS is given to check the precision of the ultimate value in the specification.
