INTERFACE SLIP OF STEEL-CONCRETE COMPOSITE GIRDERS USING PRESTRESSED FRP SHEETS UNDER SYMMETRICAL POINT LOAD
The interface slip of steel-concrete composite girders using prestressed FRP sheets appears to a certainty under the external load, the internal force of prestressed FRP sheets will increase in external load continuously, which induced internal force redistribution between concrete flange plate and steel girder. According to the structure and bearing characteristics, the interface slip differential equations considering the effect of internal force increment are established based on elasticity theory, and the interface slip calculation formulas are also presented. Results show that the effect of prestressed FRP sheets internal force increment to composite girder interface slip is little and can be ignored. The simplified interface slip formulas of steel-concrete composite girders using prestressed FRP sheets are given.
