ELASTO-PLASTIC SEISMIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF STEEL REINFORCED HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE FRAME STRUCTURE
The elasto-plastic time-history dynamic method of structure has been considered as an indispensable method for seismic design and analysis of buildings. Use of the method can forecast the earthquake disaster as well as realize the seismic response of structure in detail. Base on this, the purpose of this paper is to study the seismic responses of frame with steel reinforced high strength concrete column to reinforced high strength concrete beam under the different earthquake ground motions.According to the dynamic analytical method, a time-history analysis program of the frame is developed by consideration in the existed hysteresis model. The displacement response at the top storey and the maximum interstorey drifts of an example frame are investigated. The study shows that the different displacement responses at the top storey occur with the change of the elastic coefficient p. The displacement reduces with the increase in the value of p. The maximum interstorey drifts most commonly occur in the second storey of the frame. It can be seen that the weak storey is the second storey of the frame.
